Still floating . . .

Yes, we are all still in shock (and in utter ecstasy) over KU's NCAA Championship basketball title.

No, we have no pictures of reactions/celebrations, etc. As much as we would have loved to have made it to Lawrence for the return and parades, bad weather, work and reality got in the way. There was also the concept to herding a 5-year-old and 2-year-0ld through the drunken masses to see the players...and let's face it, they slept through the big game. Mary was out cold before the 8:20 tip-off. Megan lasted until half-time, then passed out. She was jostled awake at 10-something and informed that the Jayhawks won. Her response was less than enthusiastic, whereupon Ken opted to wake up our neighborhood with a victory-whoop off our front porch.

Be at ease, none of us were arrested.

In the meantime, we have some recent photos of the girls...

In late March, one of Courtney's co-workers at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City hosted a Princess Party that drew royalty from all over the city. Megan appeared as Belle from "Beauty and the Beast" and Mary appeared as her longtime favorite Princess Aurora from "Enchanted Tales".

Megan, Courtney and Mary, about to depart for the party

Megan and Mary check out the hors d'oeuvres.

Thoroughly princessed out by 3 p.m., enroute back home.

We'll have some Jayhawk-related photos sometime soon...

ROCK CHALK!!!
